Balanced Barossa shiraz at the highest quality level, matured only in French oak. Its style is opulent and fleshy, contrasting with Grange, which is more muscular and assertive. A growing vintage without extremes or stress, the vines ripened evenly and lead to an early harvest. Freshly sliced panforte on the nose - date, fig, with dried and fresh blue fruits, saturated with berry flavours and liquorice amongst cedar French oak. Tannins convey rather than confront, pleasantly lingering on the palate while extolling the formidable Barossa structure - layered but not thick.
